An Bàng has a slower pace than Hoi An’s Old Town, close enough to walk to the sand for a break, quiet enough to actually focus, and social enough that you won’t spend your whole trip working alone. Why An Bang Beach Works for Remote Work

Hoi An isn’t always the first place that comes to mind for a coworking space, but An Bàng has become something of a quiet hub for people who want to get real work done without giving up their trip. There’s enough going on nearby, the beach, good food, a growing community of long-stayers, that it doesn’t feel like you’re choosing between working and actually experiencing Hoi An.

That balance is really what we’ve built Phin Lounge around. We wanted a space where you could get a full day of focused work done, take a proper break by the water, and still eat well and move your body without leaving the block.

The Coworking Space

We give you a choice most cafe in Hoi An don’t: a proper air-conditioned room when you need to focus, or garden seating when you’d rather work with the breeze and greenery around you. As a laptop-friendly cafe, tables in both areas are built for laptop work, not just coffee, with plenty of power outlets so you’re never hunting for a socket. Wifi runs throughout, so whether you’re camped out for a call or a full work day, you’re covered.

Bring your beach bag too. We’ve got a fresh shower water area for rinsing off after a swim, and lockers if you want to leave your things and head to the sand between meetings.

The Menu

We’ve built our menu to keep you fed through a full work day, not just a coffee break. Choose from all-day breakfast plates like our Phin’s Plate (home-made smoked ham, scrambled egg, avocado, toast) or the Ham Cheese Egg Sandwich, work through Vietnamese classics like our Cao Lau or a Green Curry, or graze on lighter bites like our Fresh Spring Rolls or an Avocado Salad. We’re also known for our home smoked dishes, cured and smoked in our own hand-built clay oven, think Smoked Duck Breast, Smoked Salmon, and Smoked Yellowfin Tuna.

Gluten-free: Several of our dishes can be adjusted to be gluten-free on request. Just let our staff know when you order.

Vegan and vegetarian: We have a full dedicated vegan menu (Vegan Plate, Hoi An Cao Lau, Vegan Green Curry, fresh spring rolls, and more), plus a vegetarian section with egg and dairy-based dishes like French Toast, Baker Choice, and Silken Tofu with Tamarind Sauce.

Most-ordered drinks: Our Vietnamese Phin Coffee, Peanut Butter Coffee, Coconut Egg Coffee, Salt Coffee, Coconut Coffee, and Summer Refresh (a citrusy cold brew) are our house favorites, and it’s easy to see why once you try them.

Opening Hours

We’re open until 9PM, well past the 4 to 6PM close time of most cafes in Hoi An, so you’re not scrambling to find a new spot mid-afternoon.

Phin Flow Yoga

Staying active isn’t off the table just because you’re working with us. Phin Flow Yoga is right upstairs on our second floor, so anyone who wants to stay fit and moving can fit a class between work sessions instead of skipping movement altogether. Mat yoga, aerial hammock, Pilates, yogalates, kid yoga, singing bowls and gong baths run seven days a week. Drop in session is 300,000 VND.
